Where are they going?

Where are they going?  I love sitting on my deck on the Red Hawk golf course in Castle Rock , Colorado looking north toward Denver and at any one time I can count 20 or more airplanes in the air.  Some are jumbo jets, some are 2 seaters but they are all up there together.

Ok, so when I see a jumbo jet high in the the sky heading west, I assume the highly empowered travelers are heading to destinations like San Diego, California or somewhere in Alaska.

Someday I'll write a book with details of "where are they going?"  Today, this is a blog so it will be short.

Let's take a look at some San Diego pics:

So here we are, 70 degrees in January.  Ok, so that's a few degrees warmer than we have in Denver but all the same, I see those jets and this is where my mind goes.  Vacation!

There are several really cool San Diego destinations, the Zoo, Sea World, your friend in the business likes this one:

Ok, so San Diego is HOT! in January.

WHAT ABOUT APRIL?  This is my idea of a great vacation!!!

BASEBALL   --   Padres style.  Let's take a look:

.Petco Park  --  pretty cool huh?  Rockies Win!  Rockies Win!!!

Ok, so I sit here watching the jumbo jets.  They fly south west to San Diego and they fly north west. Really, north west---where.  how about Alaska?

If I were heading to Alaska, it wouldn't be for baseball but it would be for this:

Fall in Alaska --  Awesome right?

But I'd like to take a cruise -- you with me here? -- check this out!

That's what I'm talking about!

I have spent many a beautiful Denver night sitting on the deck wondering where the lucky people in the jumbo jets are going.  These are just a few thoughts.  WHERE WOULD YOU BE GOING?

Well, back to reality, it is January in Denver and it's cold but Pitchers and Catchers report in less than a month.  Soon we will be wondering who will be at the top of the rotation for the Rockies.  Gotta be Jorge right?

Here's a view of my favorite place:

Looking forward to Friday, April 4 Home Opener

I can't do a The Todd Blog without at least mentioning one of my favorite Denver real estate listings, you know the kind, the ones that require a jumbo loan or a least a trip through the 2014 WISH MACHINE.

We have done homes with wine cellars, homes on golf courses, and homes with a pool, now it is time for a Google search for Homes with a tennis court.

As is often the case, this one is listed by Edie Marks of Kentwood Real Estate.

Let's take a look:

Now for shots of the tennis court and pool:

Does this work for you?

Living in this house, with these luxury amenities and highend lifestyle is like living each day on vacation.  We don't need to sit on the deck and watch the sky, just be Empowered and live the passion of blog. and a great jumbo life.

I need a dose of Spring---Actually BASEBALL!

Ok, I love the  Denver Broncos and the Denver Nuggets as much as anyone but I don't love winter.  I need a dose of Baseball, Colorado Rockies style.

I ran across a post with this picture on it and I just had to share:

I think I sat here during the 2009 playoffs against the Phillies

As you know, I love the Castle Rock in Castle Rock, Colorado as one of my favorite places to be
SEE POST but my very favorite place to be is the pavilion at Coors Field.

In the pavilion, I can smell Dave's famous BBQ, I can catch home run balls, I can see the down town skyline and I can heckle Matt Kemp in center field and show love to Carlos and Dex all at the same time. (oh we do like to get on Kemp's case and we will really miss Dex)

Here I am catching a ground ruled double by Adrian Gonzalez

My predictions for the 2014 season?  Rockies Rule!!!

Ok, I won't get carried away but in my best dreams I see Tulo playing 155 games, Cargo not having issues with his wrist, De La Rosa winning 20 games, Chacin winning 18 games, and Anderson being 100% healthy and winning 16 games.

We won't see Jeff Francis this year even though I really like him--watched him a lot in person at Drillers Stadium while I lived in Tulsa.

So, am I dreaming?  Maybe.....we'll see.  Maybe we should put the Rockies in the 2014 WISH MACHINE.  See it in action!!

Ok, so I'm a dreamer!  NOT!

Here is what is going on outside of baseball.  Empower Network blogging.  I love blogging as you can see. It is a way to market as a professional, whether you are a real estate professional, a real estate investor, a business owner, an entrepreneur or something other, this platform ROCKS!

Ok, I simply can't blog without touting some of my favorite Realtors!  Here goes:

Washington Park is known for Historic Homes!  I love them!

471 S Dowing Street, Denver, Colorado  80206  $469,000
Listed by Brian Richardson of Buildings-Residences

Built in 1927  (LOVE THAT)

As you would expect this is a home with hardwood floors.
This is a home with granite counter tops

This is the Ultimate Bungalow!

I can see margarita's on the porch!

Depending upon your down payment this one may require a jumbo loan.

On Top of the World...well, almost!

There's absolutely nothing like it!  Standing on top of the world or in my case on top of the Castle Rock, in Castle Rock, Colorado.

The best trip to the Castle Rock ever was on Thanksgiving day a year or so back.  The sky was as blue as I have ever seen it in Denver or anywhere in Colorado.

Since most businesses where closed and there was almost no traffic moving across the city, the air was pure and I could see for miles.

Take a look:

My house on the Red Hawk golf course is over my shoulder in the back ground.

Being the mortgage guy with the passion for real estate, especially Colorado real estate, I was scanning some more listings today and ran across one just up the hill from Castle Rock, in Castle Pines.

This listing belongs to Rike Palese and Jonathan Keiler of Re/Max Professionals in Englewood, Colorado.

Here's what makes this one special to me...this is a home with a view!  A view of pine trees which are my favorite.  It is also a home with a three car garage.  Like I always say, I like space.

OK, want to see it?  Here are this pictures that make it special to me:

I love a house with a deck, in this case a house with a wrap around deck

I know, more pictures!  More pictures Please!

Pine trees so close, not only can you smell the fresh air but you can touch them!

OK, another passion, a cool place to drink a margarita!  This qualifies!

Why do I take the time to blog about real estate?  Two reasons, I help buyers who need a Jumbo Loan to buy a beautiful property like this one and I enjoy blogging.

I ran into a great company, Empower Network, that specializes in Internet Marketing including blogging and much more.  I would encourage anyone who runs their own business, especially Realtors to investigate Empower Network to see how they can use it to grow their business.

So The Todd Blog was born!
